Talking About Shingles

Every year, at least 1 million Americans get shingles – a disease that is identified by a painful skin rash, often with blisters. Only someone who has had chickenpox can get shingles, and there is no known trigger for causing a person to get shingles. That is why vaccination against shingles is so important.

This brochure is designed to educate adults about the disease and provide information on the shingles vaccine.

It’s your health. Protect yourself, protect your family, protect your school.
